Couples

I offer these options for couples in relationship:

• pre-marital counseling;
• relationship enrichment;
• relationships in conflict.

I offer many tools and areas of focus in assisting couples to heal relationship bumps, bruises and impasses.  These include but are not limited to “listening with intent to understand one’s partner”, communication, conflict resolution skills (fair fighting),  shifting from  an “enemy” to a “team” perspective, the importance of keeping agreements, learning each other’s “love language”,  moving from criticism to feedback,  nurturing the relationship, and keeping the romance alive.

I have been trained to administer the PREPARE/ENRICH www.PREPARE-ENRICH.com an assessment tool used in pre-marital, marriage preparation and marriage enrichment.  The computer-scored assessment provides a couple a perspective on current areas of strength and areas of need for growth.

This process is most often fun and always educational.  I use the results to facilitate couple awareness, inquiry and communication with the result of  success in being a better partner.
